Lauren Frankowski (’06) attends Monmouth University and is enrolled in the Honors School. She was appointed to the Dean's List for the fall semester  and is Captain of the NCAA Women's Bowling team. She was nominated for the NJSIAA Woman of the year award. She was also inducted into the National English Honors Society, Sigma Tau Delta for high academic achievement in her major.  She currently has a 3.9 GPA

Ashley Ventura ('11) pitched a no-hitter in her first start as a freshman for St. John Vianney, Holmdel.

Michelle Bayha ('08) was inducted into the Spanish National Honor Society at Saint John Vianney High School at their Induction Ceremony on Monday April 4, 2011. On March 16, 2012, the Admissions Committee of Montclair State University has accepted Michelle as a member of the freshman class for the Fall 2012 semester. Michelle will be attending Montclair State University and she will be majoring in Spanish.

Catholic University of America has named Megan Smolar (’07) to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2011.  Megan is a freshman nursing major. 

Brian Madden (’08) was recognized as a Scholar Athlete at the Winter Sports Convocation at Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft.  Brian was 1 of 12 students chosen out of approximately 125 students.  

Kiera Harrison (’11) was awarded the Best Position Paper representing the Central African Republic in the World Health Organization at Model UN at Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville.

Harold Dauncey (’05) has been named to the Dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA. 

Stephanie Bivona ('07) was initiated into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society for her outstanding academic achievement and also named to the Dean's List in her freshman year at Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.    

Brian Madden ('08) was inducted into the St. De La Salle Chapter of the National Honors Society.

Zach Geltzeiler ('08), Austin Bock ('10), Gianluca DiUbaldi ('10) and Ryan Werthmuller ('11) obtained Second Honors at Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft.

Faith DeLorenzo (’11), Alyssa Laguerta (’10), Daniella Mikhail (’10), Tiffany Stevens (’10) and MaryJo Mikhail (’08) obtained Principal’s Honors for the First Term at Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River.

Jessica Bowman (’10), Sophie Lazicki (’08) and Tyler Shimchak (’11) obtained Honors for the First Term at Monsignor Donovan High School.

Zach Hicks (‘08), a senior at Christian Brothers Academy, signed a National Letter of Intent to play D-1 soccer at Rider University next year.

Christian Bischoff (‘11), a member of the Christian Brothers Academy chess team, won the under 600 section of the 42nd Annual National Chess Congress Tournament in Philadelphia recently, winning all six matches. Robert Treval (‘11) also participated in the same event, took second place, winning five of six matches, and was also on the winning CBA freshman chess team that won the novice section of the New York City Championships.

Amanda Steckler (‘02)  has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Geraldine Mabagos (’08) recently had the title of Valedictorian conferred upon her for her success at St. Rose High School in Belmar.   Geraldine received this honor for her excellence in her academic, social and spiritual commitment over the four years in high school.     

Alaina Young (’08) was awarded the title of Salutatorian for her success in also challenging herself academically, socially and spiritually.    St. Aloysius School is very proud of all of their alumni and would like to pay special recognition to these two young ladies for their continued excellence and dedication to furthering themselves in their scholastic careers.

Jim McGowan (’08) was inducted into the National Honor Society at Christian Brothers Academy at their 28th Annual Honors Convocation evening on Thursday, February 24, 2011.

Marine Lance Cpl. Al Brenner (’03) is the recipient of a Purple Heart.

Zachary Geltzeiler (’08), Brian Madden (’08) and Vincent Russo (’08) received recognition of first semester honors at CBA.

Christine Eiserle (’07) has graduated from Monsignor Donovan High School with Bronze honors in additions to receiving two organizational scholarships one being the Leadership in Community Service.  In addition to her academic awards, Christine was a 3 year Varsity Letter athlete in basketball and a 4 year Varsity Letter athlete in Track & Field for the javelin.  She received the Coaches Award for basketball and was named to the Ocean County Senior Team and the 2nd Team All Shore.  In Track & Field she was the 2011 NJ Catholic Conference Relay Champion, received the 2011 Outstanding Thrower Award and was the recipient of the Ocean County Athlete Directors Association Sportsmanship Award 2011.  Christine will be attending Richard Stockton College in the Fall.
